Philosopher King

How it works

Your ballot.
Read through ten lenses.

  1. Your profile. Thirteen quick questions about your household, work and home, then your account. Your answers are saved to that account, or kept only in this browser if you continue as a guest, and they leave the site only inside the request that produces your evaluation.
  2. Your candidates. The people running where you live on November 3 for Congress, statewide office and the state legislature, plus county and city races where Ballotpedia covers them, grouped by level. The policies a candidate runs on are gathered the first time their page is opened.
  3. Ten readings. The Philosopher King weighs a policy through ten different perspectives on government and society, with the case for and against written in plain English for your situation. From your survey alone it tells you, for every race, who to vote for; that call starts uncertain and sharpens or changes as you evaluate policies and ask questions.
